OUR COMMITMENT

Bismerge Asia is committed to sustainability. Because even if we were just 1% of the problem, all it takes is another 99 more like us, and we collectively leave behind a mess for our children. As a "Micro-Agency", we do our part.

We contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In consideration of the sector we represent and our range of business activities, we focus on six SDGs where we believe we can make the most impact.

  • Supported the elimination of all forms of modern slavery. We are committed to taking the appropriate steps to identify vulnerable workers and mitigate modern slavery risks in our operations and supply chains.

  • Supported internal mobility by assisting employees to identify new roles within the company based on skills and experience

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

  • Promoted the use of responsibly-sourced materials and reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions, through responsible product design and supply chain management

  • Reduced the reliance on single-use disposable displays, and switched to long-term resuable display systems where practical

  • Recycled production material off-cuts

  • Reduce business administration’s reliance on paper, and shift to digital solutions

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

  • Supported the Singapore Green Plan, OneMillionTrees movement, to plant one million trees across Singapore by 2030

  • Organised industry guided edu-tours to SenokoWaste-to-Energy Plant, and Semakau Landfill, with a focus to educate the critical need for sustainability
